Sunset and full moon lovers, this one’s for you! Join us on Saturday 26th September 2026 for a magical Full Corn Moon hike up The Wrekin. We’ll climb through peaceful woodland and reach the summit in time to watch the sun set as the full moon rises.

About the event
Join us on Saturday 26th September 2026 for a magical Full Corn Moon sunset hike up The Wrekin, one of Shropshire’s most iconic hills.
We’ll follow a well-trodden path through peaceful woodland before emerging onto open ground for sweeping views from the summit. We’ll arrive in time to settle down with blankets and snacks and watch the sun set at around 7:00 pm, while the Full Corn Moon rises into the evening sky.
Don’t forget your headtorch for the journey down and a blanket or warm layer to help you stay cosy while we enjoy the views from the summit.
