Start the New Year the Adventurous Way — Sunrise on The Roaches
Kick off 2026 with the kind of energy that says “Yes, I am that outdoorsy person now.”
On Saturday 3rd January, join Beth and Janire for a sunrise hike through one of the most dramatic landscapes in the Peak District — The Roaches. With a full moon lingering in the early morning sky, we might just get double the magic.
We'll meet at 7:30am, pop on the headtorches, and take a steady climb up to the Roaches ridge. With sunrise at 8:20am, you’ll watch the world light up from one of the finest viewpoints around. From there, we’ll wander along rugged ridgelines, dip into the mystical chasm of Lud’s Church, and take in Hen Cloud along the way.
Expect sweeping moorland views, legendary stories, rocky scrambles, and possibly a wild wallaby (yes, genuinely a thing…). We’ll also bag a trig…
