About the event
🌸 International Women’s Day Series – Breidden Hill Sunset & Pink Moon Walk
A historic sunset hike beneath the Pink Full Moon: Sponsored by Acai Outdoorwear
Join us for a truly magical evening hike up Breidden Hill, an extinct volcano standing proudly above the Anglo-Welsh border — made even more special by the glow of the Pink Full Moon rising above us. And yes… it’s on Wednesday 1st April — but don’t worry, this is not an April Fools’ prank. The only thing being fooled is our sense of time as sunset melts into moonlight.
Breidden Hill rises to 367m and is crowned by the remains of an Iron Age hillfort, believed to be the last stand of Caractacus. At the summit stands Rodney’s Pillar, a striking monument built in honour of Admiral Rodney — now a landmark visible for miles and the perfect place to watch the sky transform.
