Join us for a fascinating winter walk through one of Britain’s most important historical landscapes — where bold ideas changed the world, and nature now reclaims what industry left behind. This is a journey that weaves together riverside beauty, woodland trails, and stories of human ingenuity, perfect for anyone who loves their hikes with a dose of history.


🌉 What to Expect

We’ll begin our adventure at the iconic Iron Bridge, completed in 1779 as the world’s very first iron bridge. Standing proudly over the River Severn, this pioneering structure symbolises the innovation and courage of the Industrial Revolution — and provides a dramatic starting point for our walk.


From here, we’ll visit the original toll house, where we’ll discover more about the bridge’s revolutionary design and its impact on the world. Then it’s time to head out along scenic woodland trails and riverside paths, exploring the wider story of…
