About the event
Introduction to Scrambling Course ⛰️
Join us on Friday 11th September 2026 for an action-packed day designed to take you beyond hillwalking and into the exciting world of scrambling.
We’ll head into the Welsh mountains to explore a classic Grade 1 scramble (location confirmed nearer the time), chosen to suit the group and conditions. Expect a hands-on, confidence-building day on rocky ridges and steep terrain — the kind of mountain day that leaves you buzzing long after it’s over.
🪨 What is Scrambling?
Scrambling bridges the gap between hiking and climbing — it’s hands-on mountain movement, where you’ll use both feet and hands to navigate steeper, rockier ground.
On a Grade 1 scramble, you don’t need ropes or technical gear, but you do need a sense of adventure. Think airy ridges, big views, and just enough exposure to get the heart racing (in a good way).
