Spring in the Shropshire Hills is something special — and this route is one of its finest show-offs. We’ll explore woodland trails bursting with bluebells, roll over Hope Bowdler Hill, climb onto the dramatic ridge of Caer Caradoc, and descend back toward Church Stretton with wide views, fresh air, and that unbeatable “I needed this” feeling. This 13km circular hike blends gentle woodland wandering with rugged hill drama — the perfect balance of beauty, challenge, and joy. And yes… the bluebells should be absolutely showing off.

We’ll finish back in Church Stretton, where you can choose to stay on for optional drinks and post-hike chats — because no good hike should end without a little social glow.
