Haughmond Hill Christmas Charity Walk | Shropshire | 5km | All Welcome!

Celebrate the season of giving with a festive 5 km charity walk through Haughmond Hill! This accessible and scenic route is perfect for spreading Christmas cheer while supporting a vital cause. Every penny raised will go directly to The Shrewsbury Ark, helping provide essential support for homeless and vulnerable people in our community during the winter season.

We’ll follow the trails out to the front of Haughmond Hill, offering sweeping views across the River Severn, Shrewsbury, and even as far as the South Shropshire and Welsh hills. Along the way, we’ll explore an Iron Age enclosure and stop by the viewing platform overlooking the quarry.

• Ascent: 50 m

• Difficulty: Easy – suitable for all ages and abilities

• Terrain: All footpaths, mainly grass and gravel. There are also some rocky sections.
