A Saturday spent roaming the wild heart of the Dark Peak — weaving between giant gritstone boulders, climbing the rolling ridge of Grindslow Knoll, and stepping onto Kinder’s legendary plateau where everything feels bigger, moodier and a little bit magical.
Picture a friendly group of women, moving at a steady, sociable pace, cheering each other up the climbs, stopping for photos on the giant rocks (because honestly… you will want one), and winding down the iconic Jacob’s Ladder before strolling back through Edale — the birthplace of the Pennine Way.
It’s the perfect blend of adventure, laughter, and wild Peak District energy — with a cosy pub drink waiting at the end if you fancy it.
