Join us on Monday 26th October 2026 for a magical Full Hunter’s Moon sunset hike to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire. Expect spectacular 360-degree views, autumn skies and a headtorch descent as darkness falls.

About the event
Join us on Monday 26th October 2026 for a magical Full Hunter’s Moon sunset hike up Brown Clee Hill, the highest hill in Shropshire.
We’ll climb to Abdon Burf, the highest point on Brown Clee Hill at 540 m, where we’ll enjoy incredible 360-degree views across Shropshire and beyond. We’ll arrive in time to settle down with blankets and snacks before watching the sun set at approximately 4:52 pm, as the Full Hunter’s Moon rises into the evening sky.
Don’t forget your headtorch for the journey down and a blanket or warm layer to help you stay cosy at the summit.
