🌸 International Women’s Day Series Walk – Aberglaslyn Adventure
A powerful women’s hike filled with riverside gorges, wild dips, and summit confidence: Sponsored by Acai Outdoorwear
Join us on Friday 13th March for a free, ACAI Outdoorwear sponsored, women-only adventure in the heart of Snowdonia as part of our International Women’s Day March series - through Aberglaslyn. From riverside gorges to hidden lakes, copper mines to wild mountain summits — this hike packs in some of the most beautiful (and varied) landscapes in North Wales, following a spectacular section of the Snowdonia Slate Trail.
We’ll begin with a walk through the dramatic Aberglaslyn Pass, following the Glaslyn River as it weaves through its rocky gorge, across boulders and boardwalks. If we’re lucky, we may even spot the historic steam railway chugging alongside us.
Crossing the Beddgelert railway bridge, we’ll visit Gelert’s Grave before leaving the village behind and heading towards the atmospheric Sygun…
