About the event
Start your weekend with fresh air, good company, and a gentle wander through some of Shrewsbury’s most beautiful green spaces and historic corners. This FREE monthly walk is all about slowing down, stretching the legs, and enjoying the town from a different perspective.
We’ll begin in the Quarry before drifting into the peaceful calm of the Dingle, then follow the park paths towards the weir. From here, we’ll cross the bridge and head back towards town via the Castle Walk Countryside Park — a lovely mix of greenery, river views, and hidden corners.
Once back in town, we’ll soak up Shrewsbury’s character as we pass Fish Street, the Charles Darwin statue, and Shrewsbury Castle, finishing right in the heart of town.
To end things perfectly, you’re very welcome to join us for a coffee or breakfast at a local café — because walking is always better when it ends with…
