About the Event
Join us on Monday 18th August 2025 for a scenic and varied circular hike to the summit of Abdon Burf—the highest point in Shropshire—and beyond.
Our route takes us through open heathland, along panoramic ridges, and across to Clee Burf, where we’ll explore the fascinating wartime history of these hills. The return route brings us via Boyne Lake—a tranquil hidden gem tucked away in the Shropshire Hills. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful pause, a lakeside picnic, or even a refreshing wild swim for the brave!
Whether you’re building your hill fitness or simply fancy a great day out in good company, this hike is open to all.
