Join us on Friday, 16th May 2025, from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, for a delightful 8.5 km circular walk with 170 m of ascent, exploring the serene beauty of Adstone Hill. This intermediate-level hike is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the tranquil landscapes of the Shropshire Hills, offering panoramic views and a touch of local history.
We’ll kick off with a steady climb up Adstone Hill, rewarding us with sweeping vistas of The Long Mynd, Stiperstones, and Corndon Hill. Keep your eyes peeled for red kites, buzzards, and the renowned Prolly Moor ravens soaring above.
Midway, we’ll pause in the charming village of Wentnor, where we’ll visit the historic St Michael and All Angels Church. This beautiful Norman building, nestled amidst a peaceful graveyard, offers the perfect spot for a picnic and a moment of reflection.
Our return journey takes us back to The Bridges, meandering through lush fields…
