About the event
Join us on Sunday 27th July for a stunning morning hike through Waterfall Country in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (formerly the Brecon Beacons). This 10.5km circular trail is one of Wales’s most beautiful lowland walks, and with four spectacular waterfalls, peaceful woodland paths, and some dramatic gorge views – it’s basically a greatest hits album of nature.
We'll begin at Porth Yr Ogof, home to the largest cave entrance in Wales, and wander our way along the river, across ancient bridges, down scenic stone steps and visit the stunning 4 waterfaslls including walking right behind the roaring curtain of Sgwd Yr Eira – the legendary "fall of snow."
This is the kind of walk where every corner reveals another wow moment – perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who loves chasing waterfalls!
